Moroccan food is an amazing combination Mediterranean diet- nuts, olives, fruit,
grains and vegetables. It’s combination of herbs and spices is unique- making
dishes a feast for the eyes while romancing the tastebuds. At the heart of the
kitchen is the tajine- a stew emerging from that famous cone shaped dish. This
menu is designed for a crowd- big or small- with something for everyone:
vegetarians, seafood lovers, meat-eaters and those with a sweet tooth. Make a
little or a lot!
â¢ Shrimp Tajine with Ginger and Fennel- a quick dish with smoky sweet andspicy flavours served with crusty bread
â¢ Minted Cucumber Salad with Dates, Olives, Oranges and Fresh Herbs
â¢ Lamb Kefte- a kebab made with fresh herbs and spices and minced lamb; grilled or broiled, the flavour is amazing
â¢ Vegetable Tajine with Cous Cous- this dish says Morocco: chickpeas, sweet potatoes, carrots, apricots, potatoes and squash- stewed into a aromatic dish served over cous cous with it’s own fragrant saffron-laced sauce
â¢ Apricot and Almond Cake- dried apricots, toasted almonds, orange blossom water- fragrant and richly flavoured- finished with pistachios
