There are lots of herbs sprouting at this time of year so lets learn how to make them shine in your cooking! Nothing is nicer than the smell of them in the kitchen. Rosemary, marjoram, chives, tarragon… Glenys is the fresh-herb phenom. At this time of year, most of them are fresh from her garden.
Format: Demonstration Supper-Club, Adults only
- Homemade “Boursin” with Crostini- clip away or just make a fresh batch; always good on pasta Summer vegetable soup with pesto- there’s more than one peato; learn about compound butters!
- The Famous French Salad- so simple but amazing- a lemon vinaigrette with fresh herbs
- Seared Steak with Salsa Verde and Herb Roasted Potatoes- a herb rub before cooking, a fresh herb salsa and olive oil roasted potatoes; use the grill or the oven
- The Perfect Summer Cake with Herb Infused Syrup and Rosemary Raspberry syrup- a simple olive oil pound cake for experimenting
