Celebrate the Lunar New Year the delicious way! We’ll cook classic festive dishes filled with symbolism, bold flavors, and feel-good techniques you can recreate at home. Expect sizzling woks, sweet-savory aromas, and plenty of good fortune on the plate.

Cooking since age 8, Jessica learned traditional Chinese cuisine from her father, a classic Chinese chef. By age 10, she was already cooking nine dishes for a party of eight. She later completed a series of culinary courses at The Collins College of Hospitality Management, gaining a broader perspective through global cuisines while honoring classic Chinese techniques. Let’s celebrate and welcome a wonderful Year of the Horse together!!!

MENU:

• Prosperity Lo Hei (撈起) – A colorful toss of crisp vegetables, vibrant sauces, and auspicious ingredients. Learn how to “lo hei” the right way – higher toss, better luck!!!

• No-Fail Honey Char Siu (叉燒) – Juicy, tender Chinese BBQ pork with a glossy, caramelized glaze. This foolproof method guarantees sweet-savory perfection every time.

• Golden Fried Rice (黄金炒饭) – Fragrant rice coated in silky egg yolk, wok-fried until fluffy and golden. Simple, comforting, and packed with chef-level tricks.

• Crispy Sesame Balls with Sweet Filling (煎堆) – Light, chewy, and crisp on the outside with a molten, sweet center. A classic CNY treat symbolizing happiness and prosperity.

Once booked all class cancelations receive store credit, however ABSOLUTELY NO CREDIT GIVEN WITHIN 72 HOURS OF CLASS STARTING. Options are to gift your ticket and send someone in your place, or forfeit your seat and we will send the recipes. Please respect this policy and do not call us to ask for a credit within this time-frame. We do not make exceptions.

Free parking opens up on Hastings at 6pm. Please arrive no earlier than this time.
