Dinner Party – they bring the wine! With Chef Glenys Morgan

Thinking forward into December, it’s cold outside but all thenew citrus fruit is in season – it’s time for a change of pace. This menuis inspired by a favourite restaurant of Glenys’s. Rich, warm, lovely dishes that will make you excited for a rainy Friday night with friends.

Kabocha Squash Soup with Crème Fraîche and Candied Pumpkin Seeds
Roasted Pear Salad with Black Pepper Honey Dressing, Greens and Artisan Cheese
Shortribs Braised in Red Wine, Tomato, and Niçoise Olives with Fennel Mashed Potatoes- this is a richly coloured braise that’s made for wine lovers, or baguette lovers for mopping up the sauce.
Bean Trio Saut̩ with Basil Рbutter beans, haricots vert and edamame- with torn fresh basil
Caramel Nut Tarte with Milk Chocolate-Cognac Whipped Cream – we love the warm chocolate turned into the cognac-laced cream. Gilding the lily.
