Take a moment and get your taste buds ready! This menu has it all! Tanisha is serving up her favourite eastcoast dishes in this fabulous class! Seafood, fox-seed snacks, vegetable magic, and her semolina all-time favourite Indian dessert. Broaden your horizons and take a culinary road trip with her.. I promise you will not be disappointed!
- Roasted Makhana Snack – Nutritional and healthy fox nuts (lotus seeds) lightly caramelized and toasted with a little natural sweetener, served as a quick snack. Like little popcorn, only much lighter and more flavourful!
- Malabar Prawn Curry – Ah.. such a treat to have this coastal prawn curry, spiced just right and served on a bed of rice. Just yum!
- Bharwa Bhindi with naan – Humble okra split halfway through with spices, tossed quickly and served with indian flatbreads. You won’t look at this green vegetable ever in the same way again.
- Sooji Halwa – This semolina dessert has it’s place in every single Indian household, ceremonial moment and just even as a mark of good wishes. Takes less than 10 minutes, have it warm or cool, delicious either way with so many variations and accompaniments
