Move over Macarons!!! You are so yesterday! Kidding, we love you, but today the new craze straight from France is PÃte a Choux! So what is PÃte a Choux? Known to some of you as “choux pastry”, they are a family of dessert, big and small puffs, all made with the same dough base, which we call “PÃte a Choux”, prounced “shoo.”

No baking experience? Worried it will be too difficult and you won’t be able to do it again at home? You might have taken a macaron class before or another cooking/baking class, and once at home felt very discouraged after many trials, you thought just is just a fantasy dish reserved only for elite cooks and bakers€¦ But not with Valentine! We promise this is an easy one to do at home, no fancy equipment, oven and ingredients are required, and Valentines techniques are fool proof, you can-do at home!
And what comes out from it? Well the possibilities are endless, but here are a few things you will learn in this class:

• Choux a la creme: the classic cream puff
• Profiteroles: the choux is filled with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream and covered with warm chocolate sauce
• Chouquettes: cute and simple little puff simply covered with crunchy sugar bits, a childhood fave!
• Eclairs au “eggnog!”: the long version of the choux, filled with delicious pastry cream
