Bernardin Seasonal Canning Workshop! With Darlene Tanaka

This workshop is intended for all canning enthusiasts who wantto learn the most current methods for safe, enjoyable home canning. The workshop includes a complete demonstration of the boiling-water-bath method of canning, as well as a discussion of pressure canning. The class willhold 8 students max to ensure that anyone that wishes to participate morehands-on are able to. At least three products made during the workshop will be sampled and each student will receive one jar of product to take home. Ample time will be allowed for all questions.
Participants will learn the most current methods for boiling-water-bath canning and pressure canning.
Participants will understand the steps required for safe home canning and will acquire the knowledge to start their own canning.
